Your First Visit

  Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, after a warm and professional welcome, our staff will request a copy of your driver's license and insurance card(s) {if applicable} and ask that you complete the appropriate patient forms[link]. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition as well as financial policies and our privacy notices.

Consultation (Always Free Of Charge)

Prior to incurring any financial obligations, we will always extend the courtesy of providing you, in advance, a clear transcript of the details of your insurance coverage. Our insurance specialist will also offer answers to any questions and will address any financial concerns that you may have.

You will then meet with one of our doctors so that we may learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine how chiropractic care may or may not               meet your goals. This is also an excellent opportunity to address any other concerns that you may have.

  Examination

After the consultation, and only with your consent, your doctor will perform a quality physical, orthopedic and neurologic examination. One can think of an exam like a trouble shooting procedure, we will check and see what is working, what is not, and see if we can determine the different structures or tissues involved in the problem. We also use examination procedures to rule out cases that may not be appropriate to treat in our office. Perhaps obvious but the goal is to come up with a diagnosis of what the problem is.

Diagnostic Imaging and Testing

Plain film radiographs (x-rays) help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious or dangerous spinal conditions. However, we often find need to refer patients for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), CT scans, or any of a number of other imaging/testing modalities.

Treatment

Treatments vary widely and are based on three common factors: current literature, the Chiropractor's training/experience, as well as what you may or may not want. We will happily discuss the different options, and we will try to guide you into what may work best for your particular situation.
